Will I really be surprised by the destination?

Accepted Answer

Yes — but not in a way that should keep you up at night. When you fill in the intake, you tell us what you love, what you avoid, how far you're happy to fly, and any deal-breakers. From there we match you with one of three tiers and compose the trip inside it. You'll know the tier, the broad region and the date window a fortnight before deposit; the specific destination, hotel and itinerary unlock the day you fly. If anything in the final dossier is a hard no — even something small — we rework it once, free.

Question 2

What if my plans change — or I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Plans shift, and we'd rather you travel than lose money you could've used. Deposits are fully refundable for the first 14 days after booking; after that they convert to credit you can apply to any future Vellora tier within 12 months. Date changes inside the same tier are free up to 45 days before departure. After that, we move you when we can — and we tell you in plain language what your options actually cost. No fine print, no surprise fees.

Question 3

Is this okay if I’m travelling solo?

Accepted Answer

Half our travellers go solo. Every booking comes with a dedicated trip-maker — a real person, not a chatbot — you can message from the moment you book until you're home, and a vetted local fixer on the ground who knows your name. Hotels are pre-vetted for solo-stay friendliness; airport transfers and check-ins are arranged so you don't arrive after dark into an empty lobby. Set 'solo-friendly' as an intake preference and we'll quietly bias the itinerary toward social hotels, group dinners and small-group experiences.

Question 4

Can you handle dietary needs — allergies included?

Accepted Answer

Yes — vegetarians, vegans, halal, kosher, gluten-free, severe allergies and combinations of the above. Tell us in the intake; that answer is forwarded to every restaurant, transfer and guide in your dossier. Severe allergies are flagged a second time in writing to each venue 48 hours before you arrive. If a tier can't be made safe for what you need, we say so before you book — we'd rather refund a deposit than send you somewhere the kitchens can't look after you.

Question 5

What happens with my passport?

Accepted Answer

We never hold your passport. Your details are typed into a verified booking record and used only for the bookings in your dossier — flights, hotels, visas where required. Passport scans live in your private Vellora account, encrypted at rest and visible only to you and the trip-maker assigned to your booking. If a visa service is required, we hand the document directly to the embassy-approved courier; we don't keep a copy after the visa clears. You can delete your account — and everything in it — from the profile page at any time.
